The idea for this jacket has been stewing in my mind for a long, long time. I wanted to create a piece of outerwear that felt utilitarian, sturdy, and equally confident on the job or over a summer dress. The details are literally stitched together with yellow Hi-Vis thread - an ode to hard, manual labour. The under collar dials in a feminine feel with easter egg shades of pink and purple. I love this jacket - it’s functional, comfortable, and pleasantly versatile. It's also worth mentioning that this fabric is so, so nice - substantial in weight with more stretch than you might think for a workwear denim. It's my best (and it came from overstock so once it's gone, she gone!).
Materials and fit:
cotton/poly twill. Exact amounts unknown.
This twill has minimal stretch, unlike the railroad denim option for this jacket. Stick with your regular size for this royal blue twill, or consider sizing up if you have a larger shoulder or bust measurement. This jacket has a boxy silhouette with very subtly shaped side seams to follow the curve of the hips for an A++ fit.
These measurements are based on the full circumference of the garment. Please double check with your own measurements before selecting your size!
